MEP Engineer/Technician

Overview

To oversee our water and waste management services' electrical and plumbing projects and to ensure the best possible use of our materials and resources, we are seeking a qualified and meticulous MEP Engineer/Technician. The ideal applicant will be highly experienced, possess great analytical abilities, and have a solid background in plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Setup, testing, and commissioning of our pre-assembled, plug-and-play systems and plants. • In charge of performing diagnostic fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems, as well as servicing and repairing malfunctions. • To comprehend project needs and specifications and guarantee correct implementation, cooperation and efficient communication between design and engineering teams are essential. • Ensuring effective material planning and usage for plumbing and electrical installations. • Assist the project management, inventory, and procurement departments in coordinating the prompt and economical acquisition of materials. • Inventory control procedures should be implemented and maintained to minimize waste and lower costs, and material usage and inventory levels should be monitored and analyzed to detect and resolve any discrepancies or inefficiencies. • Make sure the Bill of Materials (BOM) is accurate and comprehensive by creating and managing it for different projects. • Before, during, and after project work, comply with all applicable internal and/or external approvals. You should also create reports on project progress, material utilization, and inventory status. • Updating your expertise through the company's technical training will help you perform all project activities safely and effectively. • Take part in work-related health, safety, and environmental programs, particularly those that address electrical safety. • Make ensuring that corporate rules, laws, and industry standards are followed.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering-related fields. • Three to five years' minimum of experience in MEP or a similar position in the plumbing and electrical industries. • Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems and their components. • Knowledgeable about systems for managing inventories. • Outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems. • Strong time-management and organizing skills. • Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities. • Meticulous, emphasizing efficiency and correctness. • Familiarity with industry norms and laws pertaining to wastewater and water management.
