After School Teaching Assistant

Overview

Do you have a strong desire to provide young students with a secure and stimulating environment? Currently, a client school is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to help with after-school care for students.

Responsibilities

• Work Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm and on Fridays from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. • In order to provide a secure and stimulating environment for students who are not picked up at the end of the school day, plan and oversee activities for them. • Keep thorough notes of any late pickups, including the time and people involved. • Take careful and accurate records of everything that happens during the after-school hour.

Requirements

• An educational background—ideally as a certified instructor. • Experience working as a classroom teacher or teaching assistant and exhibiting a thorough comprehension of educational dynamics. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle a variety of potential scenarios with effectiveness. • A fair and strict approach to student supervision that guarantees a rigorous yet encouraging atmosphere.
