Restaurant Cashier

Overview

We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and accurate Restaurant Cashier to be part of an eatry! As a Restaurant Cashier, you will be the final point of contact with our guests, responsible for handling payments, operating the point-of-sale system, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments • Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency • Manage cash handling, including counting change and reconciling receipts • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any guest complaints • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash wrap and surrounding area • Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a related role • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and technology • Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
