Architect (Kitchen Designer)

Overview

An architect (Kitchen Designer) is needed for a full-time on-site position at our Accra facility. In addition to designing kitchens, the Kitchen Designer will be in charge of offering top-notch client support. They will collaborate closely with clients to fully grasp their preferences and demands, develop design ideas, and supervise the installation procedure. To guarantee customer satisfaction, the Kitchen Designer will work in tandem with the sales team and cabinetry specialists.

Responsibilities

• Designing Functional Spaces: Creating kitchen layouts that are efficient, practical, and meet the client's needs. • Selecting Materials and Finishes: Choosing appropriate materials, colors, and finishes for cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc. • Collaborating with Clients: Working closely with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and lifestyle to tailor the design to their needs. • Knowledge of Building Codes: Ensuring designs comply with local building codes and regulations for safety and functionality. • Creating Technical Drawing: Producing detailed drawings and specifications for contractors to follow during construction. • Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for the kitchen design project, including cost estimates and material selection within budget constraints. • Project Management: Overseeing the project from design through construction, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the process.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a similar discipline is advantageous. • It is necessary to have technical knowledge of kitchen design software, such as SketchUp and AutoCAD. • Skills in Cabinetry and Kitchen and Bath Design • The capacity to design aesthetically pleasing and practical kitchens • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail • Gaining experience in the interior design field is advantageous.
