In addition to providing outstanding customer service, supervising the wait staff, and helping with food and beverage service, the Head Waiter will be in charge of the restaurant's everyday operations. • Supervising Staff: Overseeing the wait staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth operations during service. • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, handling customer inquiries and issues, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. • Training and Development: Training new staff, conducting ongoing training sessions, and coaching employees to maintain high service standards. • Scheduling: Creating work schedules for wait staff, managing shift rotations, and ensuring adequate staffing levels during busy times. • Order Management: Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to the correct tables. • Handling Payments: Managing billing and payment processing, handling cash transactions, and resolving any payment-related issues. • Maintaining Restaurant Standards: Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations in the dining area.
