Engineering & Projects Lead

Overview

As a Lead, your duties will include managing a group of engineers, supervising and directing engineering projects, and guaranteeing the project's successful completion. Initiatives related to business development and the acquisition of job scope through delivery will fall within your purview. Engineering management, team leadership, software development, project management, and integration will all be part of your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and project managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery. • Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical and safety standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure project alignment with business objectives. • Manage project budgets, resources, and risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and standards, and drive continuous improvement and innovation. • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and expertise.

Requirements

• Project management and engineering management abilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; experience in project integration and Execution; expertise in team leadership and software development • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • The capacity to cooperate and perform well in cross-functional teams • Familiarity with industry norms and regulations related to mining or oil and gas • Ten years of experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar subject • Professional credentials in engineering or project management (such as PMP or PE) are advantageous.
