EHS Officer

Overview

As an EHS Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe and healthy work environment, comply with regulations, and minimize our environmental footprint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures • Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations • Identify and control hazards in the workplace • Provide EHS training and awareness programs • Monitor and report on EHS performance and metrics • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards • Collaborate with teams to implement safety and environmental measures • Develop and maintain emergency response plans • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS in the field • Strong knowledge of mining regulations and industry standards • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
