Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team and oversee sales activities within the assigned geographical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in increasing market share and profitability for our company.

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Lead and motivate the sales team to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team. • Business Development: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of existing products and competition status. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. • Operational Excellence: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales region. Ensure the sales team utilizes company resources efficiently, driving both Primary and Secondary sales • Training and Development: Train and develop sales representatives in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time management, and customer service. • Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts. Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions. • Customer Relationship Management: Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to reporting manager • Compliance and Administration: Manage expenses within the assigned area. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. • Proven sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales role and 2 years in a management position. • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills. Preferred Skills: • Strong business sense and industry expertise. • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. • Capable of working independently and experiencing in managing a team in a fast-paced and highly competitive sales environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software.
