Senior Software Engineer – Backend

Overview

To join our team, we are looking for a seasoned backend engineer that has a good background in Java development. Our web and mobile applications depend on scalable, dependable, high-performance systems, which you will design and create as a Backend Engineer. Together with our frontend engineers, product managers, and other key players, you will collaborate closely to make sure our apps provide the greatest user experience.

Responsibilities

• Our web and mobile apps are powered by scalable, dependable, and high-performing backend systems that we design and construct. • Write Java and other pertinent programming languages code that is clear, efficient, and maintainable. • Familiarity with any Java-based enterprise framework, such as SpringBoot. • To comprehend user requirements and business needs, collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders. • Work together with multidisciplinary groups to create, evaluate, and implement new features and improvements. • Optimize and fine-tune our backend systems' performance to make sure they're scalable, dependable, and quick. • Solid knowledge of code versioning systems like SVN, Git, and Mercurial. • Keep abreast of new developments in technology and backend developer best practices. • Gather and evaluate codes, procedures, and data to find issues and pinpoint areas that need to be improved.

Requirements

• Five or more years of backend programming experience, with a focus on Java development. • Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering principles. • Familiarity with Hibernate, Spring, and Struts frameworks. • Strong familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Redis, Cassandra, and MongoDB. • Familiarity with message queue technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ. • Knowledge of orchestration and containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker. • Good problem-solving abilities and capacity for fast-paced, team-oriented work. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
