By offering comprehensive financial management, strategic planning, grant pitch preparation, compliance support, capital raising assistance, and ongoing monitoring and mentorship, the business advisory support program seeks to improve the growth and sustainability of businesses. It does this by making sure businesses have the resources and direction they need to meet both short- and long-term objectives.
• Establish financial statements (cash flow statement, income statement, and balance sheet) and review and update assigned firms' financial management procedures. • Create effective financial and accounting management systems by creating financial models and helping to register for software or an accounting firm. • To determine medium-term (12–36 months) and short-term (0–12 months) growth actions, evaluate company models and perform SWOT analysis. • Help businesses determine their breakeven points and product unit costs. • bolster and synchronize the enterprise's value proposition, mission, and vision. • Assist businesses with process or operations improvement. • Find and connect businesses with suitable funding options, such as loans, grants, and equity financing. • Make site visits to entrepreneurs as needed in order to get insight into their operations, track advancement, and gather pertinent information. • Offer generic mentorship so that businesses can exchange ideas and get professional guidance on possibilities and issues related to their industry. • Through GCIC interventions, help entrepreneurs scale their businesses successfully by providing general guidance and assistance with implementation sequencing. • Keep an eye on how each deliverable is being implemented to make that organizations are moving forward as intended, with an emphasis on immediate actions.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a similar discipline. • A master's or MBA degree is preferred. • Five to seven years' minimum of expertise in accounting, business consulting, financial management, or a similar profession. • Demonstrated expertise in creating strategic company plans and doing SWOT analyses. • Knowledge of financial statement setup and financial modeling. • Familiarity with enterprise scaling techniques and procedures for operational improvement. • Extensive familiarity with and expertise dealing with new businesses, entrepreneurs, and social entrepreneurs. • Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking. Strong presentation abilities are necessary.
