In order to successfully engage audiences and promote businesses, an events and activations executive is in charge of arranging, planning, and carrying out a variety of events and promotional activities. This position includes budget management, vendor and sponsor relations, logistical coordination, and making sure events go off without a hitch. In order to work with internal teams, clients, and outside partners to provide effective events that achieve goals and leave a lasting impression, the executive also has to have excellent communication skills.
• Collaborates with other members of the Activations Team to guarantee that monthly schedule and spending plans are set up for all activations and events. • Plans and implements all consumer activations, including those in churches, schools, neighbourhoods, malls, weddings, offices, VOW, festivals, and other venues, in coordination with other members of the activations team. Finds events that fit the brands' positioning and strategy that may be sponsored. • Verifies that each site has the necessary branding materials accessible. Additionally, makes certain that all branding materials are maintained securely and used across all sites. • oversees the comprehensive branding of the venue for all activations and events. • Collaborates with fellow members of the Activations Team to guarantee the weekly and monthly availability of post-activation/event reports • Coordinate with other members of the Activations Team regarding contracts with outside agencies for the organization and execution of certain activations and events. • Collaborates with other members of the Activations Team to guarantee cost optimization for every activation and event. • Coordinates with trade marketing and outside agencies to carry out market storms around the country, particularly those that concern consumer promotions. • Works in tandem with the sales team to guarantee sales at all activations and events. • suggests ways to improve the activations and current happenings. generates concepts for additional pertinent activities and events.
• Preferred is a diploma, BSc/BA in marketing, public relations, hotel management, or a similar discipline. • Experience managing consumer-focused activations in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) setting for at least five (5) years is required. Retail marketing expertise with a B2C brand will be advantageous. • Outstanding administrative, interpersonal, and organizational abilities with a track record of success in activations and event management • Excellent communication abilities, both in writing and speaking. strong proficiency in both English and at least two other regional languages • Strong creation and delivery abilities for presentations • A practical individual with a talent for addressing issues. • Dedicated team member with strong leadership abilities • Capacity for meeting deadlines and multitasking. • Self-starter who can do tasks with little direction. • Computer savvy. adept with Microsoft Office, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel • The capacity to perform longer shifts on the weekends, holidays, and in other places. • Well-travelled and familiar with most regions of Ghana.
