Mechanical Electrical Engineer

Overview

You will play a crucial role in our operations by keeping our coffee equipment in good working order and making sure it is reliable. This position combines mechanical and electrical system knowledge to maintain our high standards for effectiveness, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Coffee equipment installation and proper operation. • To guarantee proper operation, establish standard operating procedures for machinery and provide users with extensive training. • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on the mechanical and electrical parts of coffee equipment. • To reduce downtime and ensure continuous production, quickly diagnose and fix equipment problems. • Work together with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and upgrades to our machinery. • Make sure there is as little disturbance to operations as possible when carrying out repairs and component replacements. • To avoid malfunctions, track equipment performance and apply predictive maintenance techniques. • Make ensuring that all maintenance operations adhere to industry rules and safety requirements. • Participate in the creation of protocols and maintenance schedules specifically designed for coffee roasting machinery. • Give production workers technical assistance and instruction on proper equipment operation and maintenance techniques. • Take part in the design and implementation of projects for new installations or equipment upgrades.

Requirements

• With two to three years of experience and a bachelor's or HND degree in mechanical, electrical, or a similar subject. • Shown expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a coffee roasting or related production setting. • Thorough familiarity with PLCs, motors, electrical systems, and control systems as they relate to coffee roasting machinery. • Competence in identifying and resolving mechanical problems with coffee roasting equipment. • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance techniques and preventative maintenance plans. • Strong ability to solve problems and pay close attention to details. • Capacity to operate both individually and jointly in a hectic setting. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
