Kitchen Assistant

Overview

As a kitchen assistant, you essentially work as a component of the kitchen's engine room. working under the direction of our chef, kitchen manager, or cooks. It's your responsibility to keep the kitchen tidy and functional. In certain instances, you could also assist with ingredient preparation and cooking.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the spaces used for food preparation are sanitary and clean. • Cleaning and ensuring proper storage of dishes and utensils. • Ingredients are sorted, stored, and distributed. • assisting in the preparation of salads and desserts as well as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking food. • Getting rid of trash. • Cleaning the floors, other kitchen items, and spaces used for food preparation. • May from time to time be requested to assist with other departments as appropriate.
