This role has full responsibility for overseeing and managing the entire human resources value chain. It also bears responsibility for putting the Finco Group HR strategy, standards, and frameworks into practice and localizing them to meet MobileMoney Ltd.'s goals. Along with contributing to the organization's overall strategic direction, this function will also offer guidance on all topics pertaining to human capital, as well as assure HR governance and compliance.
• As a member of the Executive team, you help determine the business's strategic direction by making sure that the People strategy, policies, programs, and processes all help the company achieve its objectives. • Oversees the creation of the HR plan in accordance with the Group Fintech HR Vision. • Take the lead in organizing the company's shift in culture and efforts to engage its workforce. • Create and cultivate a powerful employee brand to establish Mobile Money Ltd. as a top employer. • Reducing risk by making sure that all applicable laws and national regulations are followed. • Establish a cost-effective business unit by using precise financial management and forecasting, and show the way. • In order to guarantee HR operational efficiency and alignment throughout the entire organization, maintain communication with business departments. • To guarantee pertinent participation and give guidance for the various People talks, call and organize strategic meetings. • Encourage appropriate risk reduction and controls. • Make sure new initiatives are approved. • Review, approve, and/or arrange the necessary funding for initiatives involving internal personnel, as well as finalize the goals, targets, and budgets. • Give permission and/or obtain permission for suggestions pertaining to change projects. • Examine areas where people, procedures, and technology may all be improved. • Keep an eye on the executed strategy to make sure it's in line with the group business plan and industry best practices. • When appropriate, take remedial action in response to the business performance of the HR Partnering streams and verticals as measured against predetermined targets. • Assess business ideas in order to make ongoing improvements. • Establish the prerequisites for the Divisions' internal cost control.
• Requires at least a postgraduate degree HR Professional Membership Accreditation for MBA/Masters in HR • Eight years minimum of relevant experience in a human resources-related function. five years or more of management experience in global, digital, international, or telecom contexts (FMCGs, telcos) • Extensive and comprehensive background in change management and transformation. • Strategic workforce planning, including talent, workforce, succession, skills, and competency planning • Good wellbeing and employee relations • Collaborate across cultural and geographic divides • The capacity for original thought and the development of non-traditional human solutions for challenging business situations. • Extensive familiarity with Ghanaian labor law as well as associated governance and legal issues pertaining to people management • Proven ability to create and implement effective people strategies. • Strong familiarity with trends and best practices in global business for people
