Senior Food Technologist

Overview

To join our dynamic team, we are looking for a highly driven, creative, and experienced food technologist who can play a major role in creating, assessing, and refining novel food products and processes. Strong knowledge of food science concepts, superior laboratory abilities, and a drive for innovation in the food sector are prerequisites for this position.

Responsibilities

• Examine emerging technologies, consumer patterns, and food ingredients. • Create and create new food products in accordance with business goals and market demands, and enhance already-existing ones. • For efficiency and scalability, standardize and improve production procedures and recipes. • To guarantee quality and customer preference, do a sensory evaluation of food products. • To guarantee the nutritional value, safety, and quality of the product, conduct laboratory analyses. • Ensure that the processes involved in product development and research findings are accurately and thoroughly documented. • To guarantee the success of new product releases, work together with cross-functional teams from marketing, sales, and production. • Keep abreast on the latest developments in food science and industry rules. • Gain the capacity to repeat procedures in order to guarantee uniformity. • Work together with engineers and production to find solutions for production problems that preserve food safety. • Take part in the scaling up of novel goods and pilot plant experiments. • Help with feasibility and cost analysis studies for the creation of new products.

Requirements

• A master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as food science or technology. • Six to ten years' minimum, ideally more, of experience developing food products or in a related industry. • Solid knowledge of microbiology, food chemistry, and food safety guidelines. • Outstanding proficiency in the lab and knowledge of food analysis methods. • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in the Microsoft Office Suite. • Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking. • The capacity to function both alone and together. • Strong ability to solve problems and think critically. • A dedication to excellence and meticulousness. • Abilities for sensory evaluation (preferred).
