We are looking for a bright applicant with a lot of HR experience working in large, complicated, and dynamic global companies.
• Providing assistance to the HR Business Partners on cross-institutional projects like performance management and well-being • Proactive management of all HR procedures, including requests for flexible work schedules, maternity leave, promotions, secondments, probation reviews, new hires, contract extensions, leavers, and references. • Offer proficient and effective administrative support across the entire employee lifetime. • In charge of maintaining the data integrity and timeliness of the information stored in our personnel management system • Assistance with the yearly and recurring audit requests made by the Institute • Administration and communication with suppliers: tracking invoices and reports (OH, EAP, LinkedIn, etc.) • Preserving and contributing to the creation of content on our learning and development platform, LinkedIn Learning • Assist the HR Business Partners by conducting formal meetings for a range of employee relations matters, such as grievances and disciplinaries. • Generating HR reports from our people management system on a regular and irregular basis. • Arranging for inductions and overseeing our "buddy" program as part of the onboarding process • Oversee the data administration of our personnel management system, including user configuration, reporting, and data upkeep. • Helping with the payroll procedures each month • Supporting HR project activities and new initiatives with the goal of eventually taking the lead
• Strong time-management and organizing abilities, as well as expertise setting priorities for workload • Able to prioritize tasks appropriately and handle competing demands • Able to act discreetly and with regard for privacy while handling sensitive data or private affairs • Knowledge of employment laws in West and Central Africa and the function of a contemporary People group dynamic • Administration or record-keeping experience and a commitment to accuracy • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a moderate level of proficiency with its applications. • It is helpful to have some understanding of international employment law. • Complete comprehension of HR roles and best practices • Exceptional communication abilities both in writing and speaking • A degree in human resources or a similar field of business is beneficial. • Speaking French well is an extra benefit.
