Leading and instructing our robotics and STEM program, as well as working with faculty to plan and organize cross-disciplinary events that support high-tech learning, are among the primary duties. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in robotics and engineering, a love of creating and developing STEAM education, and previous experience working in an inquiry-based, collaborative, and student-centered learning environment.
• Developing lesson plans that use technology, such as robots and computer software, to get students involved in practical learning • Provide STEM-focused training using project-based learning strategies. • Uses a range of teaching strategies, educational resources, and performance evaluations to direct students' learning toward curricular objectives. • Makes use of technology to encourage cooperation, creativity, and learning. • Plans, produces, and oversees unique STEM events and activities. • Launches fresh initiatives to further the STEM mission.
• Have to have fulfilled the required National Service • A bachelor's degree in a tech-related discipline, such as engineering or computers. • Competent in both written and spoken English. • Familiarity with STEM best practices. • Expertise dealing with teenagers and young adults. • A background in mentoring and instructing school-age youngsters • Proficiency in robotics is advantageous. • Willingness to work weekends and after-school hours • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities • Strong classroom management abilities. • Strong collaborative skills.
