Overview

For the role of Head of Logistics, our client, a respectable logistics company, is presently seeking a highly qualified candidate.

Responsibilities

• Directing the movement of a product between locations coordinating transportation and inventory • Entire supply chain system planning • Coordinating the reaction to unforeseen challenges without sacrificing output, efficiency, or quality, such as malfunctioning vehicles, missing employees, or damaged inventory • Overseeing several teams with disparate personalities and experiences • supplying the logistical operations and activities of the company with strategic direction • Supervising and directing the company's logistical operations Make sure that every employee completes their allocated responsibilities on time Make sure that operational goals are achieved by managing the day-to-day logistics activities • Examining information about the expenses of storage, inventory control, suppliers' performance, and other aspects of logistics • Suggest areas for development • Fostering and preserving a solid rapport with clients by keeping an eye on and assessing performance in regard to predetermined contract parameters. • Keeping track of the logistics budget, including new projects and clients • Anything else the CEO decides to designate

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, economics, or a similar discipline. • Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) professional certificate • A master's degree in a related discipline is ideal. • working in the sector for at least five years, with a solid background in Excel • Excellent organizing abilities are required. • group leadership • outstanding aptitude for organizing • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical approach are required. • Needs to be self-disciplined, self-motivated, and self-starter • Strong verbal and writing communication skills are required. • Strong morals, high standards of honesty, and lofty ideals are required. • Must be able to communicate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds • Need to be capable of handling sensitive data
