Structural Draftsman

Overview

A dedicated individual is needed to become an architectural draftsman for a developing construction firm that provides consulting services, construction project execution, surveying, GIS, and mapping. 
The primary duty of the draftsman will be to provide technical drawings that will be included into construction plans for different projects.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that building projects are carried out in compliance with the design guidelines.
Examine construction requirements, rules, and available space to produce architectural designs. 
When necessary, visit building sites to get dimensions and measurements. 
Create comprehensive architectural plans for both private and public building projects. 
Make architectural designs using calculations, sketches, and construction specs as a guide. 
Make a set of visual building guidelines. 
Preliminary technical information. 

Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. 

Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.

 Prepare variations of design. 

Prepare 2D and 3D modelling.

 Explain concepts to construction team. 

Comply with company policies, procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar profession at the very least. 
Three (3) or more years of steadily increasing structural drawing job expertise.
It is necessary to be proficient in AutoCAD architecture, Revit, and ArchiCAD. 
Utilizing Lumion will be an extra benefit. 
Have outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. 
Prioritization skills, attention to detail, and capacity for high-pressure job are required. 
It is advantageous to have previous construction industry job experience.
