Overview

As a governance officer, your main tasks involve developing and implementing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risk assessments, and overseeing internal controls. It's all about maintaining transparency, accountability, and ethical practices within an organization.

Responsibilities

Provide secretariat, corporate governance and business support to the Corporate Governance function across the Group.

Maintain the delegation of authorities’ frameworks for all entities within the Group.

Ensure organizational policies are up to date and workplace practices are in alignment with the Corporate Governance Frameworks to ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in law or relevant qualification in Corporate Governance.

 Demonstrated understanding of best practice corporate governance principles in the Ghanaian Legal setting.

Minimum of 4 years’ extensive experience working in a company secretarial/corporate governance function.
