CAD Technician

Overview

In order to assist architectural and interior design projects, the CAD technician will be in charge of technical drawings and collaborate with different architects.

Responsibilities

• Create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) • Develop and modify designs based on architectural and interior design requirements • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and engineers to ensure design intent • Communicate design information and resolve technical issues • Manage and maintain project drawings, documents, and revisions • Coordinate with teams to ensure accurate and timely document distribution • Assist in developing and visualizing design concepts • Create 3D models, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas

Requirements

• Four years or more of experience in a comparable position • Proficiency with SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD • Accuracy and attention to detail in design work • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities • Relevant degree or certification in building technology, civil engineering, or CAD draughting
