Overview

Managing and creating customised travel plans, upholding customer relations, and promoting business expansion through sales and business development projects are all part of this job.

Responsibilities

• Create and design tour itineraries for both pleasure and business travel. • Create engaging tour programs and adjust itineraries to meet the specific needs of each customer. • To increase business prospects and draw in new customers, actively participate in sales and business development initiatives. • Create sales plans and take part in pitches, presentations, and client meetings. • should stay up to date with evolving trends regarding travel advisories and admission fees to tourist attractions. • Establish and preserve solid connections with suppliers, such as lodging facilities, resorts, airlines, transit companies, and MICE locations. • Handle unanticipated difficulties and grievances proactively to decide on the best line of action. • Compile and give management a competitive and helpful analysis. • Create an affordable trip package that fits the needs and spending limits of your clients. • Make sure that all regulations pertaining to vaccinations, visas, and travel safety are followed. • Retain a high level of professionalism while protecting client privacy.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in tourism or a similar discipline is required. • Five years or more of work experience in a related profession. • Experience working as a travel advisor, tour planner, or tour guide for a reputable travel agency Experience in business development or sales in the travel and tour industry • Have excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking, and be able to interact with clients in a cordial and effective way. • Must be able to offer suggestions that are appropriate for each client's particular needs. • Must have strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. • Demonstrated ability to establish and preserve strategic alliances and corporate ties. • A sales-oriented mindset that prioritises achieving goals and producing business. • Computer proficiency, especially using writing applications like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
