Technical Trainer- Surface Equipment

Overview

Your major duty as a Surface Equipment Technical Trainer is to create and present specialised technical instruction on surface equipment operation, maintenance, and problem finding. You will make sure that external clients and internal teams alike obtain the technical know-how required to maximise equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients OEM technical support by putting in place efficient management procedures. • Maintain quality and ecologically safe and healthy practices while implementing cost-cutting initiatives to manage an efficient budget. • Create and implement efficient maintenance procedures to guarantee fleet dependability and availability in accordance with contract conditions. • Assume personal accountability for your duty of care, health and safety, and the environment. • Oversee all stakeholder and customer connections. • Make sure that Sandvik's business image and associated product and service offerings are promoted through ongoing improvement activities. • Assure subordinates' professional and personal growth. • Verify that all Sandvik policies and procedures are being followed. • Make sure the post-training report is ready and distributed to all parties involved as soon as possible.

Requirements

• Degree competent engineer or someone with a solid trade background who has technical and managerial experience with the necessary equipment. • Project management experience would be beneficial. • Five (5) years or more of experience in a comparable position • strong focus on EHS and sound commercial sense. • Strong interpersonal, people management, and written and verbal communication abilities are crucial. • proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including spreadsheets. • Knowledge of maintenance management techniques • It is crucial to have the willingness to travel and work for extended periods of time in remote areas. • The capacity to collaborate with others in a multidisciplinary team and mentor team members. • Being able to communicate in French will be beneficial.
