The head of techniques will make sure that mechanical system costs are minimised by careful planning, preparation, and perhaps oversight of the preliminary and remedial work.
• Create technical specifications for new services and acquisitions, and engage in dialogue with service providers or suppliers. • Provide technical advice to support the procurement department's negotiated rates. • Maintain timely purchase requisition management to prevent stock depletion. • Take part in creating the budget for mechanical maintenance. • In conjunction with the technicians and supervisors, make sure that the schedules for major work stoppages and preventive interventions are prepared. • Create protocols for both curative and preventive mechanical installation interventions. • Continue to archive the files pertaining to the major stops' operations. • Keep the equipment's documentation up to date and maintained. • Make sure that all management system-related documents, such as work orders, action plans, and annual shutdown plans, are archived.
• Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level. It is preferred to have a master's degree. • At least five years of experience in positions involving techniques development, process engineering, or manufacturing. • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting. • Knowledge of industry-standard software, such as ERP/MRP systems and AutoCAD. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing's environmental, health, and safety regulations.
