Cranes Engineer

Overview

To supervise the upkeep, operation, and repair of electric port gantry cranes, we are looking for a highly qualified Cranes Engineer. We will be concentrating on eRTGs (Electric Rubber-Tyred Gantry Cranes) and STS (Ship-To-Shore) cranes, particularly those of the ZPMC brand.

Responsibilities

• Put environmental preservation and safety first in all maintenance tasks. • Oversee and direct all terminal crane preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to guarantee peak performance and little downtime. • To guarantee efficient operations, oversee the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of port gantry cranes. • Create and carry out preventative maintenance plans and arrange for urgent repairs. • Give the maintenance crew direction and instruction on crane maintenance and safety procedures. • Collaborate closely with crane operators to guarantee that safety and operational regulations are followed. • Coordinate with vendors to get replacement components and supervise the execution of significant repair jobs.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering bachelor's degree or a similar discipline • Experience operating electric port gantry cranes, especially eRTGs and STS cranes, for at least five years • Strong knowledge of ZPMC crane systems is necessary. • Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and extensive understanding of electrical control systems • Knowledge of industry safety norms and regulations Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in a port environment
