Senior User Researcher

Overview

In order to guide product development, your primary goal as a Senior User Researcher will be to comprehend user demands and behaviours. From planning to analysis, you will take charge of research projects and make sure the findings are useful and lead to significant advancements.

Responsibilities

• Work in groups to produce designs that satisfy user requirements and company objectives. • Use wireframes, prototypes, and finalised designs to guide the design process from conception to completion. • Collaborate with user researchers to help guide and improve design choices. • Create and manage design systems to ensure uniformity in all products. • Encourage the development of other designers by mentoring and advising them. • Keep abreast on tools, technology, and design trends.

Requirements

• It is preferred to have a degree in psychology, HCI, or a similar discipline. • More than five years of expertise doing user research for digital goods. • Proficiency with usability testing, ethnography, questionnaires, and interviews as research tools. • Familiarity with low-tech settings and non-Western markets. • Excellent cross-functional teamwork and communication. • Analytical abilities to convert information into useful insights. • Competent in handling technological setups and using Jira, Confluence, and Figma. • Readiness to travel.
