Overview

Processing and receiving payments are the responsibility of the cashier we are hiring. Good accounting skills, the ability to handle cash and customers, strong communication abilities, the ability to quickly adjust to a changing environment, attention to detail, accountability, confidence, education, self-motivation, and, most importantly, a customer-centric mindset are all expected of the perfect applicant.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process consumer payments • Provide customers with receipts for every purchase they make. • Verify receipts to make sure the printing is accurate. • When necessary, compute and give consumers their change back. • Answer consumer questions as needed to demonstrate basic customer service. • Daily cash and sales receipt reconciliation • Follow established procedures for performing bookkeeping procedures. • Keep the check-out area neat and orderly. • Cash report preparation and submission • Help the sales floor and other employees with shelf stocking and other branch-related tasks.

Requirements

• Possessing a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. • Two years or more of experience in a comparable role. • Must be a resident of Asokwa or the surrounding area.
