Electrician

Overview

Participate in a demanding three-month project with a top IT, technology, and consulting organisation in Ghana. Responsibilities

• Install and maintain an ICT lab's electrical systems. • Install uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and automatic voltage regulators (AVR). • Install circuit breakers, distribution boards, primary switches, and changeovers. • Electrical layouts can be made and presented using AutoCAD. • Diagnose and fix electrical problems.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or certification in electrical work. • Demonstrated expertise in electrical maintenance and installation. • Strong familiarity with safety regulations, wiring, and electrical systems. • AutoCAD proficiency for presentations of electrical layouts. • Knowledge in installing UPSs and AVRs. • Strong ability to write reports. • It helps to have some basic network engineering experience. • The capacity to fulfil deadlines and work under duress.
