Retail Sales and Customer Service Associate

Overview

The Retail Sales and Customer Service Associate will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience at A&C Mall in East Legon and Marina Mall, Airport. The associate will assist customers with their product needs, manage sales transactions, and contribute to the store’s overall atmosphere and success. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a passion for products.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers in selecting skincare products and addressing inquiries. • Manage customer orders, deliveries, and feedback, ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Promote products, offering recommendations based on customer needs. • Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to create a pleasant shopping experience. • Operate the point of sale (POS) system to complete transactions and process payments. • Participate in sales activities and marketing events to boost store visibility and sales. • Plan and execute in-store marketing initiatives with team members to enhance customer experience. • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelf stocking and product arrangement. • Assist with inventory management to track product availability and stock levels. • Learn about product features to cross-sell and upsell to customers effectively. • Communicate in-store promotions and special offers to customers. • Offer suggestions and insights to improve store sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree. • 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role. • Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage and build relationships with customers. • Proficiency in French is an advantage. • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays. • Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic. • Available to work between 8 am and 8 pm, 5 days a week including weekends.
