Shop Attendant

Overview

The Shop will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in our Makeup and Perfume shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty products and fragrances, with the ability to assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, boosting sales, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and understand their needs, assisting them in choosing makeup and perfume products. • Maintain a strong understanding of the shop’s product offerings, including new arrivals, trends, and promotions, to provide product recommendations. • Actively engage customers to boost sales, promote products, and upsell or cross-sell as necessary. • Track inventory, ensure shelves are well-stocked, and report low stock levels to management. • Ensure products are displayed attractively and neatly according to visual merchandising guidelines. • Operate the cash register, process payments, and provide receipts to customers. • Maintain a tidy shop by cleaning shelves, displays, and ensuring an organized environment. • Address customer questions, complaints, or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when needed.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience, particularly in beauty, cosmetics, or fragrance sales, is preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Basic knowledge of makeup and perfumes is an advantage. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. • Basic math and cash handling skills. • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
