Overview

To supervise the day-to-day activities of our warehouse in a fast-paced furniture manufacturing setting, we are looking for a very well-organised and seasoned warehouse manager. The ideal applicant will have a track record of success in warehouse management and strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the warehouse's daily activities to guarantee efficient resource usage and seamless workflows. • Oversee a group of warehouse employees, offering direction, instruction, and performance reviews to guarantee a high degree of output and effectiveness. • Put in place efficient inventory control systems to precisely monitor, arrange, and care for our wide variety of furniture parts and completed goods. • Work together with the installation crew to make sure every installation satisfies client needs and quality standards. • Plan and implement effective workflow methods in conjunction with production to guarantee on-time delivery and reduce order fulfilment cycle times. • Work closely with suppliers to guarantee that raw materials and completed goods are delivered on time. • To keep a safe working environment for all warehouse employees, implement and enforce stringent safety regulations and procedures. • Oversee and plan the internal raw material storage, maintaining a clean, secure, and industry-compliant warehouse. • Keep an eye out for chances to streamline procedures, cut expenses, and boost operational effectiveness. Then, take the necessary action. • Work together with cross-functional teams from production, quality assurance, and procurement to resolve any warehouse-related problems and guarantee smooth operations.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in the furniture manufacturing sector as a warehouse manager or in a comparable position. • Strong background in logistics coordination, inventory control, and warehouse operations. • Outstanding team management and leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating a varied group of people. • Solid knowledge of safety rules and recommended procedures in a warehouse setting. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as an acute attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work with a variety of stakeholders. • The capacity to handle several priorities and adjust to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
