Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Seeking a strong and driven software engineer to contribute to the development of novel and inventive products across a variety of sectors. You will be a member of a vibrant, customer-focused team in a business that values the client experience.

Responsibilities

• Expertly add features and enhancements to products under development with little oversight. Work with developers to produce unified and useful APIs that improve user experience. • Lead a team to fulfil requirements by converting company clients' specifications into technical and conceptual ideas. • Create features and enhancements for company clients' products in a way that is safe, reliable, and effective. • Work together in a fast-paced, iterative setting with developers, engineers, the DevOps team, product owners, and/or management to achieve objectives and uphold a high standard of quality. • Use best code review guidelines while doing code reviews, and make sure team contributions are promptly addressed. • Address moderately complex and wide-ranging technical issues • Identify team obstacles (sometimes known as "technical debt"), then suggest and carry out fixes.

Requirements

• At least five years of development-related professional experience. Full stack, front-end, or back-end • Thorough familiarity with any of the following technologies: PHP, Python, and Java • Extensive familiarity with JavaScript libraries or frameworks in any of the following areas: Angular, React, and Vue.js • Thorough familiarity with databases in any of the following areas: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL • Thorough understanding of the design and tenets of object-oriented programming • Thorough knowledge on how to scale apps to manage large data traffic • Proficiency in DevOps and Agile work environments; familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs
