Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Create, construct, and manage intricate data models and architectural solutions to satisfy the demands of the company. • To comprehend data requirements and convert them into architectural solutions, work together with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. • Create data integration plans, such as ETL pipelines and data flow, to link disparate data sources. • Ascertain that all data solutions comply with data governance, security, and quality criteria. • Take the lead in projects to update data infrastructure, with an emphasis on scalable cloud technologies like AWS and Azure.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a similar discipline • At least three years of experience as a data architect, with a solid foundation in data platform design and implementation. • Familiarity with large data technologies such as Spark, Apache Hadoop, or others • Proficiency with Python for automating ETL procedures and creating data pipelines • Knowledge of database technology, including data warehousing systems, SQL, and NoSQL. • Familiarity with distributed data storage systems and cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, and GCP). • Strong familiarity with data integration technologies, ETL/ELT procedures, and data modelling methodologies. • Knowledge of data visualisation technologies, such as Tableau and Power BI.
