This position will be in charge of establishing and preserving enduring connections with important clients in Sales Area West Africa, reporting to the Business Line Manager-Accounts & Applications Management. Within the Sales Area's primary accounts, you will be responsible for increasing customer happiness, creating income, and spotting company growth prospects.
• Build trusting connections with important clients by getting to know their goals, requirements, and difficulties. • Serve as the primary point of contact, guaranteeing client happiness and offering outstanding customer service. • Communicate with clients on a regular basis to answer their questions, concerns, and requests. • Establish rapport and trust with technical teams, project managers, executives, and other important players in client organisations. • Determine prospects for business growth within important accounts by comprehending their future needs and matching them with the company's capacity. • Work together with internal departments, such as project management, engineering, and sales, to provide customised solutions that satisfy client demands and optimise income potential. • To land new projects or contracts with important clients, draft and deliver compelling proposals, negotiate agreements, and seal deals. • To guarantee that projects within important accounts are completed successfully and that client expectations regarding quality, timeliness, and budget are met, work closely with project managers and technical teams. • Throughout the project lifecycle, act as a liaison between internal and customer teams to promote efficient communication and issue resolution. • Track the development of the project, giving clients frequent updates and quickly resolving any problems. • To guarantee long-term retention, regularly evaluate client satisfaction levels, carry out customer reviews, and pinpoint areas that require improvement. • Proactively address client concerns, solicit input, and carry out the necessary remedial measures. • With important accounts, conduct routine business evaluations to evaluate performance, spot joint venture potential, and improve the client experience in general.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a similar discipline is required. A technical background is ideal. • ten (10) years or more of experience in a comparable position in a global corporation. • You need to be able to communicate and write in Chinese with ease. • Prior experience working for a multinational Chinese company will be viewed favourably. • Prior experience working in the mining, construction, energy, or allied industries in a mechanical, electrical, or technological capacity will be valued highly. • Possessing proficiency in the LEAN Six Sigma approach will be advantageous. • Excellent commercial sense combined with a firm grasp of engineering concepts and procedures. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to establish relationships and sway important stakeholders at different levels. • Outstanding presentation, proposal draughting, and negotiating abilities. • strong coordination and project management skills, as well as the capacity to efficiently multitask and set priorities. • analytical attitude with the capacity to understand information and derive significant conclusions. • competence with Microsoft 365 Suite, CRM applications, and other pertinent technologies. • high level of written and spoken English skills. • meticulous and a superb problem solver. • Willingness to travel as necessary to attend industry events and meet with customers
