Overview

To carry out HR plans and take the lead in making sure that the necessary human resources with the right knowledge, skills, and abilities are available in order to accomplish the organization's goals. Additionally, to act as a point of contact for all legal matters and guarantee the efficient and successful execution of all HR-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the adoption of best practices that support diversity and fairness by offering tactical help for the creation of HR policies throughout the organisation. • Oversees all aspects of labour relations, including safety, employee welfare, and union relations. • Put in place initiatives and activities that increase employee dedication and boost company serves as a workplace and offers measurement matrices. • Creates financial strategies for human resource operations by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating needs, trends, and deviations; coordinating financial resources; creating action plans; assessing and evaluating outcomes; starting remedial measures; and reducing the impact of deviations. • Oversees the hiring, placement, and retention procedures to ensure that the company has the best possible staff. • Meets state and local legal standards by researching new and existing laws and ensuring compliance. • Oversees the union and all associated issues to maintain unity in labour relations. • Oversees all human resources operations related to pay and benefits, payroll, leave, employee relations, performance management, staff welfare, and training and development. • Regularly creates HR analysis reports, assessing patterns, interpreting and conveying them, and offering suggestions to the HR Director. • Supports management and employees by sending letters, reporting, and creating schedules to address a range of employee concerns, including the administration of welfare and benefits. • Helps with the environment, security, safety, and health

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in human resource management or a similar discipline and at least eight to ten years of relevant work experience • Excellent understanding of current HR best practices and the capacity to plan HR-related operations; Ghana Laws, rules, and practices pertaining to labour and employment • The capacity to plan, coordinate, inspire, and guide groups of people and several projects while adhering to strict deadlines. • Computer literate; familiar with JE Systems, MS Office, and database software • Familiarity with workforce analysis, payroll administration, and HRMS • Outstanding verbal and writing communication abilities to draft letters, offer suggestions, and interact and communicate with management and staff in an efficient manner. • HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, and IHRMGH are advantageous. • Possession of a current driver's license and the ability to drive.
