The Security Guard plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to emergencies.
• Access Control: Monitor and control entry points to prevent unauthorized access and ensure only authorized personnel or visitors are allowed entry. • Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of premises, both inside and outside, to deter and detect security threats. • Surveillance: Operate and monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect unusual activity. • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergencies, such as alarms, incidents, or accidents, and take appropriate action to mitigate risk. • Asset Protection: Safeguard company assets, including equipment, merchandise, and facilities, from theft, damage, or unauthorized access. • Crowd Control: Manage and direct crowds during events or gatherings to ensure public safety and prevent disruptions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification preferred. • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields. • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and security systems. • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening. • Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to emergencies. • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and crowd control techniques.
