Sales Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for offering technical support to the sales team, collaborating with customers to understand their technical needs, and developing solutions to address those needs. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Experience in sales within industries such as mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, cement, and refineries is required.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales Support: Assist the sales team with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and developing solutions. • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their technical needs, offer solutions, and establish strong relationships. • Solution Development: Design, configure, and integrate solutions to meet customer requirements. • Product Knowledge: Keep current with the company’s products, services, and technologies. • Sales Cycle Participation: Contribute to various stages of the sales process, including opportunity identification, qualification, and closure. • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and product development. • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer interactions, and solution development.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a similar role. • Technical Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends. • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. • Industry Experience: Sales experience in industries such as mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, cement, and refineries is essential.
