We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services while fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
• Procurement Planning: Create and implement procurement strategies to fulfill business needs. • Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. • Tendering and Contracting: Prepare and oversee tenders, contracts, and purchase orders. • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Educational Qualification: Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply or a related field. • Professional Certification: Certification as a Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement or supply chain management. • Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Excellent communication and negotiation skills. o Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities. Personal Qualities • High level of integrity and professionalism. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
