HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN & OPERATIONS

Overview

This role is essential for developing and implementing strategies and procedures to enhance cost competitiveness, ensure product availability according to market demands, and establish compliant and sustainable supply practices based on global standards. Additionally, it involves providing strategic guidance to determine the most cost-effective distribution solutions and appropriate inventory levels to support the company's operations and cash flow generation. As a member of the EAME leadership team, this position collaborates closely with commercial units to monitor supply performance comprehensively and represents the GO strategy and performance. Therefore, the role requires a high level of leadership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

- Lead strategic development of sustainable supply chain network to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.

- Coordinate communication between GO and Commercial teams to align objectives and outcomes.

- Serve as central point of coordination for regional interactions with global operations and headquarters.

- Drive initiatives to enhance cash conversion cycle and achieve financial goals.

- Direct supply chain team to implement best practices and assess performance using KPIs.

- Maintain awareness of supply versus demand dynamics and ensure stakeholder communication.

- Oversee regional supply chain functions including demand generation, S&OP execution, and logistics.

- Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks through efficient processes and standards.

- Monitor logistics metrics, manage expenses, and optimize cost-benefit ratios.

- Negotiate agreements with suppliers and coordinate cross-departmental actions to improve performance.

- Analyze supply chain data, ensure compliance, and establish clear SLAs with upstream functions.

- Manage customer complaints and drive for quality and compliance throughout operations.

- Collaborate with commercial units to align supply chain strategies with financial targets.

- Share and implement best practices and knowledge across the organization.

- Proficient in supplier negotiations and relationship management.

- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of handling multiple high-priority projects.

- Possesses advanced business acumen, communication skills, and change management expertise.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

- MBA/master’s degree considered advantageous.

- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
