Overview

For the company's investment products, such as corporate finance solutions, collective investment schemes (CIS), private wealth management, and pensions, the business development officer will assist the team in increasing sales, client acquisition, and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Help find and contact potential customers to advertise the company's investment goods and services. • Through prospecting and research, assist in building a pipeline of institutional and individual clients. • Help with the marketing and customer presentations of items such private wealth management services, collective investment plans, and pensions. • Assist senior members of the business development team by participating in both in-person and virtual meetings with clients, both current and prospective. • Give clients frequent follow-ups and information on the potential and success of their investments. • Assist in the creation of reports, presentations, and proposals for clients. • Keep thorough records of all communications with clients and business development initiatives. • Investigate consumer demands, market trends, and rival products to give the business development team information. • Help in planning presentations, customer meetings, and events to advertise the company's goods.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics, or a similar discipline. • A keen interest in investment products, sales, and financial services. • GSE or CISI certification is required. • Experience in marketing, business development, or sales for up to a year (including internship experience). • It is advantageous to have knowledge of asset management products such as Private Wealth Management, CIS, and Pensions. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Strong time-management and organising skills. • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, which includes Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • The capacity to learn fast, work autonomously, and fulfil deadlines.
