Overview

The pharmacy assistant will help with inventory control, customer service, and dispensing procedures while maintaining a high standard of professional phone manners.

Responsibilities

• Help with precisely processing prescriptions and performing dispensing tasks in a professional manner. • Help with inventory management, which includes ordering, replenishing, keeping an eye on stocks, and participating in stock-taking procedures. • Professionally respond to consumer questions to deliver outstanding customer service. • When taking calls and answering consumer questions, use professional phone manners. • Make sure the workplace is tidy, well-organized, productive, and secure. • To improve the general client experience, work well with chemists and other team members.

Requirements

• Familiarity with general pharmacy procedures, dispensing procedures, and prescription processing. • Outstanding phone manners and customer service abilities. • Demonstrated proficiency in stock control and inventory management. • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. • Capacity to flourish in a fast-paced setting Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • An additional benefit is prior experience working in a busy community pharmacy environment. • It is preferred to have a pharmacy-related degree or certification.
