Overview

You will be essential in managing our warehouse operations and making sure that logistics and inventory are managed effectively. You will be in charge of overseeing warehouse employees, streamlining warehouse operations, and keeping a tidy and safe workplace while answering to the supply chain director.

Responsibilities

• Manage every facet of warehouse operations, such as order fulfilment, inventory control, receiving, and storage. • Create and put into place effective warehouse policies and procedures to increase output and reduce mistakes. • Ensure that inventory levels are sufficient to satisfy operating needs by keeping accurate inventory records. • Perform routine cycle counts and, if necessary, rectify inventory discrepancies. • Oversee and manage warehouse employees, offering direction, instruction, and assistance as required. • Encourage the warehouse team to have a culture of accountability, cooperation, and ongoing development. • Organize incoming and outgoing logistics tasks, such as shipping, receiving, and transportation. Collaborate closely with logistics partners to guarantee prompt and economical delivery of goods. • Enforce safety procedures and make sure that health and safety laws are followed. • Perform routine safety inspections and take care of any dangers or safety issues. • Put quality control procedures in place to guarantee the precision and consistency of goods and deliveries. • Keep an eye on the product's quality and work with the appropriate teams to resolve any problems. • Make sure that warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and forklifts, is maintained properly. • Plan regular repairs and maintenance to save downtime and guarantee operating effectiveness.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a similar discipline • Five or more years of warehouse management experience, ideally in the logistics or agriculture sectors Prior experience in the aggrotech or agriculture sectors Someone with a thorough understanding of new developments in warehouse management technology • Someone with knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management software (WMS) • Someone who is well-versed in logistical procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations • Someone who is well-versed in health and safety laws and industry best practices
