Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Create scalable, maintainable, and high-quality backend services and APIs through architecture, design, and development. • Technical Leadership: Encourage a culture of ongoing learning and development by offering junior engineers technical advice and mentorship. • Cooperation: To guarantee the smooth integration of backend features with the final product, collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. • Performance optimization is the process of locating and fixing performance snags to make sure our systems are scalable and fast. • Security: To safeguard our systems and data, put strong security procedures into place. • Code Review: To guarantee code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices, conduct comprehensive code reviews. • Documentation: Write and keep up-to-date thorough documentation for backend procedures and systems.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline. • Backend development expertise of at least five years, along with a track record of producing software solutions of the highest caliber. • Knowledge of backend languages including Golang, Python, Java, and FastApi. • Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others. • Strong knowledge in designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL. • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and micro services architecture. • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS. • Familiarity with testing pipelines and GitHub automation techniques. Version control and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with DevOps techniques and resources.
