• Plan and oversee the daily operations of the security, sourcing, machine operating, drying, and platform teams in accordance with the company's production goals as well as your personal KPIs and deliverables. • Facility Management: Create and put into place policies and processes to oversee greenhouse operations, grounds maintenance, pest control, recyclable waste management, on-site sanitation, and water at organic-certified facilities. • As required by organic certification, make sure every location is hygienic, risk-free, and devoid of contaminants. • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals by producing completed goods on time. This involves organizing and supervising the teams' daily shift operations at the processing facility. • Maintenance is the process of maintaining facility equipment operating through planned cleanings, repairs, and inspections. • Create and implement standard operating procedures and systems to enhance operations and reduce risks. • Oversee manufacturing quality control in accordance with the company's quality standards. Consists of keeping thorough and proactive records of testing and adjusting production methods (to achieve moisture, microbiological, and pesticide standards). • Supply chain management includes managing supplier connections, manufacture of the final product, bagging, stock recon, and warehousing, as well as overseeing the procurement and inflow of raw materials to guarantee product flow.
• Undergraduate degree in development, engineering, forestry, or agriculture (BA OR BSC HONS) • A postgraduate degree in business, management, engineering, or agriculture is preferred. • Extensive familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Agricultural Hygiene Practices (GAHP), and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), as well as the capacity to teach employees and implement these procedures in new work settings • Experience running a facility that produces and processes food • Proficiency in several certification systems, including Organic, UEBT, HACCP, RA, and any ISOs • Systems, Product Flow, and Operations and Production Management in Food Processing Facilities • Facility management, which includes knowledge of greenhouse and warehouse operations • Understanding of and familiarity with initiatives related to agriculture, development, and sustainability. • Experience and abilities in staff management and supervision • Expertise in farmer training, including GAP and GACP, and agricultural extension. • Experience and understanding of good warehousing practices, such as reconciliation, record keeping, management, and cleanliness. Desirable • Fluent Twi/Fante • Outstanding facilitation and communication abilities in English, both in writing and speaking. • Rural business, RECON, manufacturing, and processing line experience Crucial Line Experience in management • Team formation and orientation with strong interpersonal abilities • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel in Microsoft Office
