Applications Developer

Overview

Analysis, design, development, packaging, implementation, and management of new or altered software projects or products fall within the purview of this position.

Responsibilities

• In charge of encouraging the Digital ICT team to embrace, improve, and use software technologies. • Capacity to create and use APIs • Integrate third-party systems, apps, and platforms such as IN, payment platforms, billing platforms, etc. • Establishing goals and creating more unified, functional code in conjunction with the front-end developers and other team members to improve the user experience. • To solve issues and pinpoint areas that need improvement, gather and examine data, procedures, and codes. • Together with the architect, lead the investigation to find software solution options for systems enhancement utilizing industry best practices, affordable tools, and internal resources. • Determine any weaknesses in the current software solutions and procedures so that the operational team may be properly advised and either work on an internal solution or refer the issue to the relevant IT/business unit or vendor for resolution. • Be the go-to developer when the business analysts uncover new business requirements. Work with all stakeholders to deliver on the requirements, create budgets and schedules through the onboarding process, and automate manual software operations. • Prior to software solution testing and live deployment, collaborate with the DevOps specialist, Business Operations Support, Infrastructure, and Security teams to make sure that all dependencies are taken into account and mitigations are implemented. • Take the lead on any modifications that affect the software application sector. Make sure the group provides the proper software documentation for deployments that have been finished.

Requirements

• A degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, or a related field. • At least four years of experience creating software in an IP/IT environment similar to that of telecoms or financial services. • It is quite desirable to have extensive understanding of telecoms and subscriber engagement procedures. • Extensive expertise in developing mobile applications. • A self-assured and adaptable developer that can lead and swiftly adjust to new software application concepts and technologies while working with multiple stakeholders. • Expert understanding of Java EE, PHP, and Java script variations like JSON, Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, and others. • The capacity to provide and consume both SOAP and Restful APIs, as well as to construct micro services. His database management skills should be strong (Oracle, MongoDB, Postgre). • Advanced familiarity with programming frameworks, such as Spring Boot and Laravel.
