A training coordinator's overall responsibility is to assist the training manager in carrying out the aforementioned mission statement while preparing and growing for a future operational or training leadership position.
• Create yearly training schedules for customer service, HR, management, and other areas. • Create and implement training initiatives (in-house or outsourced). • Choose suitable training techniques or exercises (e.g., professional development seminars, mentorship, on-the-job training, and simulations). • Promote available training to staff members and provide them the details they need regarding programs. • Assess the training needs of the entire organization and pinpoint any knowledge or skill gaps that require filling. • Make use of established educational ideas and keep abreast of emerging training approaches and strategies. • Create, arrange, and place orders for instructional resources and assistance. • Evaluate the quality of teaching and ascertain how training affects employee competencies and KPIs. • Find possible training talent, then suggest and develop applicants for Master Trainer positions. • Assist the training manager in making sure the company Training Monthly report is accurately filled out each month and that the Regional Training Consolidation Report is updated with the findings. • Set a good example and uphold company's fundamental principles. • Encourage the completion of the company Training Peer & Self Audit Tool for the Training Self Audit. • Encourage and carry out the policies and processes of company Corporate Training. • Recognize and closely follow the hotel's fire, hygienic, health, and safety standards as well as the guidelines set forth in the staff handbook.
• BSc in HR, education, training, or a similar discipline • Shown expertise in a training coordinator, trainer, facilitator, or related position • Practical experience organizing several business training sessions • Extensive familiarity with the idea and practice of instructional design • Proficiency in online delivery tools and learning management systems • Shown capacity to finish the whole training cycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation • Knowledge of both contemporary and conventional job training approaches and strategies • Familiarity with online learning environments • Well-versed with Microsoft Office
