Video Editor

Overview

For a video editor, this is a hybrid contract position. Daily responsibilities related to video production, editing, color grading, motion graphics, and graphics will fall under the purview of the video editor. Although the position is based in Accra, there is room for some flexibility with remote work.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated expertise in video editing and a portfolio with a variety of work displayed.

Proficiency with programs for editing videos, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

The capacity to manage several projects at once and perform effectively under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate with a team that is located remotely.

A meticulous, creative mind that is passionate about using video to express stories.

Requirements

Proficiency in Video Production, Editing, and Color Grading.

Graphics and motion graphics abilities.

Proficiency with other video editing programs including the Adobe Creative Suite.

Familiarity with visual effects and animation in both 2D and 3D.

The capacity to work in a fast-paced atmosphere and fulfill deadlines.

Outstanding communication and organizing abilities.

Healthcare marketing expertise is advantageous.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, such as marketing, communications, video production or film.
