Overview

In a pharmaceutical company, an area manager oversees and manages a team of medical and marketing professionals in a certain geographic region. The Area Manager is in charge of making sure the representatives who work under their direction hit sales goals and of giving them the direction and assistance they need to do so.

Ensuring that representatives follow corporate policies and procedures is another duty of the area manager.

Responsibilities

To provide ethical team members with on-the-job training (medical and marketing)

Work together with the sales and marketing division to plan and carry out successful lead generating initiatives.

Define, confirm, and carry out the company's KPs.

Requirements

Pharm D/ B.Sc. Pharmacy / MBA or Graduate from reputed institute from Ghana. 

Any extra professional or post graduate certificates will be an advantage

Experience: Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing is mandatory (minimum 5 years and should have handled team of pharmacist or marketing Reps.

Excellent verbal, written, Presentation and interpersonal communication skills. English fluency essential. Must know how to drive and have a valid driving license.

IT Literacy:

• Professional computer and MS-Office / Excel / PPT etc.
