In order to ensure alignment with business objectives, we are offering an interesting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to work with HR leadership and business units to review and recommend revisions to compensation and benefits policies. The role is a full-time, hybrid working arrangement employment with a base in Accra, Ghana.
To work together with the Group Reward Team to effectively administer Ghana's local benefits and compensation.
To oversee and assist in the implementation of organizational and people plans, with an emphasis on localization, enhancing leadership skills, and organization effectiveness.
To lead a variety of important activities and provide business function areas with complete operational HR assistance, coaching, and guidance in order to help them accomplish the strategic people objectives outlined in the people plan.
In order to achieve business goals and build an internal talent bench, it is necessary to support the design of effective, results-oriented practices and developmental experiences in talent planning, performance management, talent review, succession planning, culture, inclusion, and diversity.
The successful candidate will have the primary functions and responsibilities listed below.
Talent Management & Localizations
Provide expertise in talent management to deliver and continuously improve our talent processes, designing and program managing the process execution
Provide support to Line Managers in developing career and localization plans from succession and localization discussions.
Ensure a diversity, inclusion, and engagement lens is integrated into all talent management processes and systems.
Ensure development plans and pathways are in place for top talent to support meaningful growth experience
Compensation, Benefits & Mobility
Collaborate with HR leadership and business units to review and recommend updates to compensation and benefits policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to total rewards, and recommend adjustments to our programs as needed
Working with Group Reward, conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure the relevance and competitiveness of TGL’s compensation and benefits package.
Stakeholder & Org Effectiveness
Drive organizational effectiveness and performance within the BU.
Support the engagement of external/government agencies such as PC, GNPC etc
Facilitate change management processes, including communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies both internally and externally.
Project manage new HR projects, programs, and initiatives via detailed project plans, process maps, and following to through with implementation
Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree holder
Professional HR Certification e.g., CIPD, SHRM preferred
Skills /Professional Experience
Minimum 5+ years in a similar role delivering talent, reward and org effectiveness programs at a fast-paced, engineering focused, technology organization
Exceptional project management with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision making and measure program effectiveness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
