Compensation & Benefits Manager

Overview

This position will be in charge of administering employee benefit plans, optimising pay structures, and making sure labour rules are followed. The ideal applicant should have experience managing cross-border compensation and benefits procedures, good payroll competence, and regional HR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Payroll management and compensation strategy: oversee payroll processes and guarantee competitive, legal compensation plans in Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon. • Regulatory Compliance: Make sure that the region's statutory payroll and benefits standards, tax rules, and labour laws are followed. • Employee Benefits Administration: Oversee benefit plans, such as health insurance, pensions, bonuses, and other incentives, while making sure they comply with corporate guidelines. • Data & Reporting: Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making and keep consistent reporting on changes in remuneration. • HR Systems & Process Improvement: To increase productivity, assist with the deployment of payroll and EHR systems in various locations.

Requirements

• Education: at least a bachelor's degree; a background in business, finance, or human resources is recommended. • Experience: At least six years in payroll management or compensation and benefits, preferably with international exposure. • Knowledge: Excellent comprehension of Ghanaian, Nigerian, and Cameroonian payroll systems, labour legislation, and benefits rules. • Language Proficiency: Outstanding writing and communication abilities in English (French is a plus). • Soft skills include a strong sense of accountability, an analytical mindset, the capacity to solve problems, and a customer-focused attitude. • Attention to Detail: The capacity to oversee intricate pay plans, examine payroll information, and apply industry best practices for employee benefits.
